Transforming Network Infrastructure Week in Review: Fiber Mountain, 5G, Alibaba & More

This week, NTT Communications purchased the remaining 20 percent of RagingWare Data Center shares giving the firm control of RagingWare’s footprint in the United States, Canada, Latin America and South America. “We are excited to expand our investment in RagingWire and the America’s data center market,” said Masaaki Moribayashi, Senior Vice President of Cloud Services at NTT Communications and a Board Member for both NTT Communications and RagingWire. Alibaba Cloud, part of the Alibaba Group recently launched the Malaysia City Brain initiative. In a partnered effort with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), the multi-phase project is focused on digital transformation, and creating a future-forward smart city. Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.

Fiber Mountain is exhibiting at Cisco Live! In Las Vegas for the first time ever! Our first day was hugely successful from just about any perspective - from quantity and quality of booth visitors to successful meetings with customers.
