NETSCOUT Enables Service Assurance in Cloud Era

June 12, 2017

Digital transformation is at hand, starting with data center operations and the network, extending to the way team members collaborate. While the cloud plays a key role in this evolution, problems are bound to crop up from time to time. So, as many plunge headfirst into the transformation taking place, it’s of the utmost importance that cloud migrations run smoothly, allowing the complexity of today’s technology to wash away, leaving a simplified and streamlined process.

To this end, NETSCOUT recently unveiled the vSCOUT, vSTREAM and virtual nGENUISONE – all aimed at extending service assurance. This includes broad application assurance, which covers custom or off-the-shelf applications running in the cloud, or physical or virtual data centers.

“There has been a lack of solutions that provide the same visibility that exist in conventional data centers for cloud services,” said Anil Singhal,

president and chief executive officer, NETSCOUT. “The solution we are introducing today provides unmatched visibility into the hybrid cloud environment and ensures that our customers can migrate applications to the cloud with confidence.”

The three new solutions are built on the foundation of NETSCOUT’s Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) proprietary technology, which allows these next generation solutions to offer visibility like never before. ASI compiles traffic, and transforms it into highly structured, multi-dimensional metadata in real time. In utilizing this approach, NETSCOUT can unequivocally promise security, risk management, improved performance through enhanced decision making via automation and pervasive deployment.

In making “smart data,” NETSCOUT allows for a scalable and pocket friendly deployment, which is capable of overseeing the complex environment of applications in hybrid or cloud environments.

“NETSCOUT has introduced a unique approach to providing visibility and security into hybrid environments,” said Dan Conde, analyst, ESG. “While there are many tools available to manage pieces of the IT services being delivered, NETSCOUT has developed a solution that provides a holistic perspective that encompasses the applications and the myriad of IT dependencies that must come together to successfully deliver those applications to the end user.”

While IT teams struggle to adapt to today’s digital era, it becomes mission critical to empower these teams with the appropriate arsenal to navigate cloud computing, and all that entails.  Venturing into the cloud need not be a murky proposition.

Day 3 of Cisco Live is history! For Fiber Mountain, we continued to enjoy visits from decision makers and influencers who were eager to share their data center and structured cabling challenges.

Day 2, Cisco Live!

Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.
