Vantage Data Centers Expands Executive Team with President of North America and Chief of Staff, Vice President of Investor Relations

Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced that it has added two new members to its executive team: Jeff Tench, president, North America and Valerie Finberg, chief of staff and vice president, investor relations. Tench and Finberg each have extensive communications infrastructure leadership expertise to support Vantage's rapidly expanding global footprint.

Tench brings to the Vantage team more than 25 years of experience in technology, telecommunications and IT services. In his new role, he is responsible for driving the company's continued growth across North America with overall P&L responsibility for Vantage's U.S. and Canada businesses across eight campuses in six markets.

He joins Vantage fro Cognizant, where he served as global head of the company's Microsoft (News - Alert) Business Group. Prior to that he founded and served as CEO of New Signature, a 500-person, private equity-backed company acquired by Cognizant, where he led the company's global organic and inorganic expansion to create the world's largest independent, pure-play Microsoft cloud partner. Previously, as CEO of Teliris Inc., Tench engineered a successful exit to Dimension Data (News - Alert) for the cloud-based telepresence leader. During his 11 years at Level 3 Communications (now Lumen Technologies), he rose to the position of president of the Business Markets Group.

With nearly 30 years of experience spanning corporate governance, M&A, capital markets transactions and communications in the telecommunications and infrastructure industries, Finberg serves as chief of staff and acts as lead liaison with the company's investors and other stakeholders. She joins Vantage after a long tenure at Lumen Technologies and its predecessor companies, CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications (News - Alert), where she was vice president, investor relations and previously held roles as chief of staff and vice president, corporate communications.

Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.

Fiber Mountain is exhibiting at Cisco Live! In Las Vegas for the first time ever! Our first day was hugely successful from just about any perspective - from quantity and quality of booth visitors to successful meetings with customers.
