As a matter of fact, this week, Italtel deployed a green data center at the University of Pisa. “By choosing to create a green data center, the University of Pisa has reduced its environmental impact while also optimizing the available space and cutting ongoing maintenance costs,” said Fiorenzo Piergiacomi, Head of Public Sector Account Unit at Italtel. This week, Verizon Partner Solutions announced the arrival of a SD-WAN solution for wholesale customers. The intention is to offer improvement in areas like network efficiency and operational expenses, while delivering exceptional performance.The VPS SD-WAN offering provides transport independence with easy IPsec overall and traffic distribution configuration as well as automatic failover and built-in load balancing. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.
