month, we were able to quickly identify a solution and purchase a new shell building within a highly constrained market,” said CyrusOne CTO Kevin Timmons.  Timmons expects the facility to be all systems go within a year. The full story is HERE.

A recent report from ACG research illustrated the global market for optical data center interconnect (DCI) is projected to reach just shy of $5 billion by 2019, which represents a compound annual growth rate of nearly 45 percent from 2014. Laura Stotler’s complete analysis is HERE.

While hyperscale data centers are gaining in adoption and popularity, a key component to their success is microservices management. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.
