Dynatrace Recognizes Digital Performance Management Leaders

October 20, 2015

The recently held PERFORM 2015, organized by Dynatrace, highlights the latest advances in digital performance. It also recognizes leaders in the segment that are delivering innovative solutions for improving the monitoring of applications and IT for organizations across all industries.

During the Dynatrace PERFORM Global User Conference in Orlando, Fl., the company gave awards in two different categories: Digital Game Changers – Mentors, and Digital Game Changers – Rising Stars. A total of six individuals and the implementations they made for their organizations were recognized.

The mentors were: Gopal Brugalette, Performance Architect at Nordstrom; Michael Wojcik, Vice President, Enterprise Technology Services at Panera Bread; and Sandeep Shivakumar, Enterprise Monitoring Architect at Prudential Services Singapore.

The game changers were: Alexander Pluim, CTO at BVA Auctions; Derek Abing, Systems Engineer at Sentry Insurance; and Mukesh Molugu, Performance Architect at DTCC.

The company also awarded another five individuals in different categories.

The digitization of organizations now demands the monitoring of digital performance in order to ensure they are functioning at peak levels all the time. The very nature of digital commerce or presence requires systems to be on 24/7 without any down time, because even the shortest stoppage in services can result in losses. Whether it is financial or customer perception of the organization, eliminating or minimizing any disruption is key to gain customer loyalty and retention.

The Dynatrace platform makes real-time information available with visible and actionable outputs across businesses and IT. This has resulted in more than 7,500 organizations using the company’s technology, from Cisco, Intuit, LinkedIn and Yahoo, to WellsFargo, Travelers, BestBuy and many other globally recognized brands.

Without the ability to master the complexities of today’s digital ecosystem, it becomes that much more difficult to gain operational agility and increase revenue by providing the customer experiences consumers now demand.

The key features of the Dyantrace solutions are delivering visibility, context and collaboration without barriers by providing everyone in the organization with what they need so they can all be on the same page. This is a complex process as more people work remotely from varied locations using different devices and systems.

However, the company provides views on every system and every application in one solution allowing administrators to go from end-user level to code-level in seconds to pinpoint any issue right away.

The dangers in today’s digital ecosystem have become headline news as more organization in the public and private sector become victims of cyber criminals. While digital performance monitoring solutions will not get rid of this problem, being able to pinpoint end-user issues and gain code-level visibility in real time will eliminate any blind spots, and dramatically reduce any downtime that might be caused because of a breach.

Day 2, Cisco Live!

Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.
