Australia : INSIGHTFULCRM to sign $2 million deal with Macquarie University [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) InsightfulCRM, Australian business consulting and system integration firm has expanded its relationship with Macquarie University by signing a $2 million, four-year contract.

Since 2 years, company has been working with Macquarie University for rolling out Consumer Relationship Management (CRM) across many of its departments and integrating the solution with multiple back-end systems.

As per the deal, InsightfulCRM will roll out a campus-wide CRM solution for Macquarie University using its SugarCRM technology, that grows open-source software with enterprise service and support.

As per InsightfulCRM, that deal is the huge single education deal signed with SugarCRM globally.

Macquarie University SugarCRM chief information officer, Marc Bailey, stated that, deal has enabled the university to better manage stakeholder relationships and increase its focus on student experience and retention in a highly competitive education sector.

When we looked at how to introduce customer relationship management ideas and technology in a higher-ed context, we realised that interaction and adaptability matter. Although there are off-the-shelf solutions to educational CRM, there is a multiplicity of integration targets where generic approaches just don t fit, stated by Bailey.

It s great to be in a strategic three-way partnership between Macquarie University, InsightfulCRM and SugarCRM, co-operating closely to helping attract, retain and engage multiple stakeholders, added by Englaro.

Fiber Mountain™ CEO and Founder— plus my longtime friend—M.H. Raza does a terrific job on this blog of explaining how our Glass Core™ architecture transforms the way data centers build their network infrastructure.

The History of Fiber in Data Centers, Part I: Past and Present

Fiber Mountain, as our company name suggests, believes fiber cabling must play a central role in helping data centers scale affordably as bandwidth needs continue to grow. Four Reasons to Make the Leap to SDN in Your Data Center

I'm always fascinated by what causes a business trend to emerge, grow and sometimes expand to actually redefining the industry as a whole. Having spent years in the technology field, I've found the networking sector particularly exciting in this regard because true innovation can and does transform entire segments of our industry. Revolutionary processes and technologies make past deployments and best practices look laughable in light of recent innovations.

Reflections From the Fiber Mountain Launch

Over the past weeks and months, the Fiber Mountain team has worked hard to prepare for our company launch at this year's Interop New York. In this post, I want to share our thoughts from the days leading up to the October 1st unveiling and about the event itself at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan.
