Creative Safety Supply is Now Offering 'Really Brite' Reflective Tape for Nighttime Visibility

Lake Oswego, OR, Feb 18, 2013 ( via COMTEX) -- Creative Safety Supply is now offering 'Really Brite' Reflective Tape for many uses when visibility is required in dark areas or at nighttime. When it comes to the benefits of reflective tape, they seem to be endless. It is an excellent choice for marking anything that requires a high level of night time visibility. The aggressive adhesive will adhere to most any clean, dry, and relatively flat surface. The high intensity product has a reflective value of over four times that of the standard Reflective Tape, also offered through Creative Safety Supply. It has been tested to meet or exceed ASTM D-4956-99 III.

Construction sites can use this tape for marking off areas that could be dangerous when not visible at night. New buildings with open stairways or an open pit to a lower level that has not been finished can be marked with the 'Really Brite' Reflective Tape indicating a dangerous zone area. The bright reflective colors are noticeable from a long distance away creating safety way before any accident could possibly happen. "No Enter" signs can be marked with the reflective tape making it more apparent to anyone trying to enter an area that is unsafe.

The reflective tape can also be used for homeowners or business owners with driveways or parking lots. Attaching the reflective tape to a wooden or metal pole or sign on each side of entry or exit driveways will be more apparent during the nighttime or during winter when a lot of snow has fallen and plowing has been delayed. No more going the wrong way or going over curbs because visibility is low. A homeowner commented, "Since we started using the reflective tape at the end of our driveway, we have reduced the number of times going over curbs and requiring our tires to be rebalanced every few months." What On-Board Optics Means for Density and Flexibility

This past week I read an article in Lightwave Magazine and another in Network World about the formation of the Consortium for On-board Optics (COBO), a group that seeks to create specifications and increase the faceplate density of data center switches and adapters.

Scaling Hyperscale in an Age of Exponential Growth and Virtualization

Over the past several years server, network, storage and application virtualization has revolutionized the way hyperscale data centers are built by consolidating workloads. The trend has simplified network architecture significantly and resulted in huge cost savings as well.
