Serco Awarded $68 Million U.S. Navy Production and Engineering Services Contract

RESTON, Va., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services to the federal government, announced today that the Company was awarded a new production and engineering services contract in support of the United States Navy's Automated Digital Network Systems (ADNS). The five year contract exercises a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with a total value of $68 million, if all options are exercised.

Under the contract, Serco will perform hardware integration and testing to deliver the Navy's newest ADNS configuration in support of Shore, Ship and Submarine installations. Serco will expand into a larger production facility in San Diego, California to support this new work.
