BRIEF: Send us Instragram pics from Reading Holiday Parade

Nov 16, 2012 (Reading Eagle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Time for some fun with Instagram: Do you plan on attending the annual Reading Holiday Parade Now you can be more than a spectator. Send us pictures of the parade that you take with the Instagram app on your smartphone, and we'll put them in an album on the Reading Eagle Facebook page.

Instagram is a camera app on your that allows you to apply borders and filters to your photos.

To send us your photos: 1). Take a picture with the Instagram app. So more people can find it, tag it with #readingholidayparade.

2). Hit the green "share" button.

3). Underneath the photo on the right side, hit the "photo options" button (looks like three dots).

4). Select "email photo." 5). Email the photo to, with the words "Instagram gallery" in the subject line.

6). Include your real name and a description of the photo in the body of the email.

Deadline to submit is Sunday at 10 p.m., so you should have plenty of time over the weekend to pick your favorite photos and send them in. On Monday, we'll publish a photo gallery on Facebook.
