Citel Signs Authorized Reseller Agreement with Mouse (UK) Limited for the Sales and Marketing of its MCK Product Range in the UK

Citel Technologies, Inc., is pleased to announce the completion of an Authorized Reseller Agreement with Mouse (UK) Limited headquartered in Leicestershire, England for the sales and marketing of its MCK line of PBXgateway/Extenders in the United Kingdom. The PBXgateway/Extenders extend the features and functionality of a central PBX to branch offices, call centers, retail locations and SOHO (small office/home office) workers.

Distributed enterprises utilizing a central PBX with advanced features and applications require IP migration solutions that leverage existing infrastructure investments, but also pave a road to the future of IP telephony. Citel's EXTender and PBXgateway product suite accomplishes both objectives. Branch offices, call centers, mobile workers, and home-based workers connect to the corporate voice network over an IP network, while the enterprise extends the useful life of the existing PBX.

Citel was approached by the principal of Mouse (UK) Limited who had, earlier in his career, been responsible at his then employer for the promotion and installation of the MCK range of products, to add the MCK line to his company's list of offerings. Working closely with the UK Sales team, Mouse UK was brought up to speed on the current MCK offerings and a deal quickly concluded. Citel is pleased to work with Mr. Clarke, Managing Director at Mouse UK and his team to help him reopen the UK market for the MCK product line. A Citel spokesman said that there is plenty of demand remaining in the marketplace for the MCK line and looks forward to working with Mouse UK in reestablishing its place in the UK market.

Mr. Clarke said 'I look forward to a successful relationship with Citel and consider the products to be a valuable addition to our portfolio. The MCK range of Digital EXTenders has always been a popular solution to companies wishing to enable remote working and branch office connectivity within their existing telephone system, removing the need for costly replacement.' About Mouse (UK) Limited Mouse (UK) Limited is a value added Distributor and Reseller of IT and Telephony solutions to a customer base throughout the UK and Europe. Full UK installation and global support services are available on all products supplied by them.

I have been attending this seminal IT and networking conference since its inception in 1986 when it was called the TCP/IP Vendor Workshop, focused on interoperability of various TCP/IP program stacks.

What Fiber Mountain's Interop Recognition Means for Our Industry

When Fiber Mountain™ began its journey with a launch at Interop New York last fall, we certainly believed that we had a solution that would make a significant impact in the data center space.

What On-Board Optics Means for Density and Flexibility

This past week I read an article in Lightwave Magazine and another in Network World about the formation of the Consortium for On-board Optics (COBO), a group that seeks to create specifications and increase the faceplate density of data center switches and adapters.

Scaling Hyperscale in an Age of Exponential Growth and Virtualization

Over the past several years server, network, storage and application virtualization has revolutionized the way hyperscale data centers are built by consolidating workloads. The trend has simplified network architecture significantly and resulted in huge cost savings as well.
