Detectent Joins eMeter Alliance Program [Professional Services Close - Up]

Together, Detectent and eMeter, A Siemens Business, will develop and sell integrated revenue protection solutions for utility smart grid systems.

In a release, the company noted that the eMeter Alliance Program empowers eMeter's partners with the tools and support necessary to integrate their solutions with the EnergyIP Platform and certified Applications.

"Integration of our robust analytic applications and solutions with the EnergyIP Platform and Application suite brings significant value and new possibilities to existing eMeter-Detectent customers as well as future customers." eMeter's integrated Smart Grid partner ecosystem provides utilities with pre-tested and certified interoperable Smart Grid solutions based on industry standards and best practices, accelerating time-to-value for customers. As part of the ecosystem, partners gain access to a suite of web services and support including API's, sample code, demo software licenses and testing programs. eMeter also puts its support desk and technical knowledge at partners' full disposal. Additionally, eMeter's global network of utility customers can continue to build on their EnergyIP investment, driving value and results to their organizations and customers.
